Extensively used in Japan as a skin lightener. It works by inhibiting tyrosinase. Basically it is a fungus like a type of mushroom. First discovered in Japan n 1989.It is used in concentrations of 1-4%.

Kojic Acid Derma Skin Whitening/Lightening/Bleaching Soap was formulated with pure Kojic acid and was discovered in Japan on 1989. This soap was successfully used to lighten and whitens skin discoloration and whiten dark spots giving you a fairer and younger looking skin.
